General information about the collection and processing of your data

1. Scope of Data Processing

Generally, we only process personal data to the extent necessary to operate our website and provide our content and services effectively. Typically, personal data processing occurs with consent. However, there are exceptions where obtaining prior consent is impractical, and processing is legally permissible.

2. Legal Basis for Processing

Your data is processed based on your consent, the necessity of processing for contract performance or pre-contractual steps at your request, or legitimate interests as outlined in GDPR regulation. If processing relies on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us using the details provided in clause 1.

3. Data Storage and Deletion

We retain personal data only as long as needed to meet contractual or legal obligations. Thereafter, the data is promptly deleted unless required for evidence under civil law or statutory retention obligations until the end of the limitation period. We either delete or block personal data once the purpose for storage is fulfilled, unless further retention is mandated by EU or national laws applicable to our company. Data blocking or deletion also occurs once the prescribed storage period ends, unless extended storage is required for contract completion.

3.1. Data Retention Policy

Account Data is retained for up to five full fiscal years after the cancellation of your Cookiedoo CMP account due to tax regulations. Configuration Data and System Generated Data are erased immediately upon cancellation. End User Data is erased 12 months post-registration and immediately upon account cancellation.

3.2 Data Retention for Legal Compliance

The default retention periods set by 2pix cannot be changed. However, you may suggest changes to comply with specific sector laws and regulations.

3.3 Data Restitution and Deletion

After the Agreement terminates, no data except Account Data will be retained. You may request a data copy before termination. Ensure not to cancel the Cookiedoo CMP account until the data copy is received, as 2pix cannot deliver it post-cancellation.
